Oceanworld Manly

OceanWorld Manly Aquarium

Oceanworld Manly's education program offers students from pre-school to year 12 the opportunity to observe and interact with a wide variety of aquatic and terrestrial Australian animals. If you are looking for something unusual, educational and lots of fun for your children to do, take them to Oceanworld’s Kids Club. Kids Club is fully supervised so parents can relax on the beach or enjoy breakfast in Manly. This is a great opportunity for your kids to ‘work’ as assistant animal keepers and marine biologists between 8.00am and 10.00am. Kids Club runs on weekends with extra sessions in school holidays. Bookings are essential.

Let the School Excursion Come to you …..

To complement student excursions, Oceanworld also offers mobile aquatic and/or terrestrial exhibits to schools, community groups and for special events.

The mobile touchpool comes with a variety of marine animals and may include sea stars, sea urchins, hermit crabs, baby sharks and shark eggs, kelp, cuttlefish and small fish species.

Reptiles may include a baby salt-water crocodile, python, blue-tongue lizard and bearded dragon. Invertebrate such as redback and funnelweb spiders and scorpians can also be included.

Presentations can be themed to meet a particular part of your curriculum or address broad issues such as conservation. Why not talk to their Education Officer to develop a special program of activities for your school.
